SCAR TEST

There are many different skin injuries. They can come from day to day “in house” accidents like cuts or burn but also from natural cause like ance or pregnancy. Skin can also need special care after dermatological peelings or laser treatments. Adopting the proper care is crucial for optimal regeneration of the skin and scar-free healing. Even with old scars, nothing is lost: nice healing and skin beauty recovery can also be achieved with the right skin care. For optimal regeneration of the skin and scar-free healing, the right care is crucial. But even with existing scars, nothing is lost: here too, good results can be achieved with the right care. Sometimes you know there may be a scar: during pregnancy or before an operation, the right care helps for better scarring.

 Irritated, reddened skin

Irritated or red skin can have many different causes: External factors such as skin abrasions or too much sun. Dermatological treatments (e.g. laser treatments or chemical peels) also affect the protective barrier of the skin. Symptoms such as redness, scaling and itching may occur.

In these cases , the choice of the right care product  is particularly  important. Product: Le Baume:  soothes  redness  and  promotes  skin regeneration  with its Alpha-3 Complex®.

Scrapes / Abrasions

Abrasions occur when the skin grazes along a rough surface. The knees, palms, elbows and face can be affected. Usually only the top layer of skin (epidermis) is scraped.

Such abrasions should be cleaned and disinfected. It is recommended to let them air dry. The care balm helps in these cases. It  promotes  skin regeneration with its  Alpha-3-Complex® and  contains  zinc, which has an anti-inflammatory, antibacterial effect. A doctor should be consulted for wounds that cover a large area and/or are  heavily contaminated,  for abrasions near the eyes, for heavily weeping or suppurating  wounds  or for persistently  bleeding wounds.

Sunburn

Despite sun protection, sunburn sometimes occurs. Sunburn is caused by the ultraviolet radiation of the sun and corresponds to a burn of the skin. Within 1-2 hours after irradiation, there is a sharp reddening, feeling of heat and occasionally itching. The skin tightens and burns. Severe sunburns can even cause blisters. Symptoms reach their maximum after 12-24 hours and regress within a few days, sometimes with desquamation of the skinIn these cases, the care balm helps. Aloe vera soothes the symptoms, zinc has an anti-inflammatory effect and the Alpha-3-Complex® promotes skin regeneration.

Care after dermatological peeling  or laser treatment

The accompanying skin care after dermatological peelings or laser treatments plays a major role. Used correctly, it helps to accelerate the skin’s regeneration processes and sustainably improve the results. It is also important to suppress infections and scarring as much as possible and to shorten follow-up treatments.

Le Baume is an oil-in-water emulsion and contains the right mixture between aqueous and oily phase. Used regularly, the wound area becomes less tense. Le Baume also contains D-panthenol, aloe vera and vitamin E in addition to the unique Alpha 3-Complex® to stimulate wound healing and skin regeneration.

Stretch marks

The  connectivetissueof the subcutis(the dermis) is responsible for the elasticity of the skin. It consists of a network ofcollagen fibres. If the connective tissue is overstretched, this leads to tears in the subcutis, which are visible externally., blue-reddish stripes.

The stripes are most common on the most stressed  areas such as the abdomen, hips, buttocks, upper arms and breasts.

Stretch marks are not a medical problem, but they can become a burden. Because they are scars, they do not regress completely, even if their appearance changes over time. The stretch marks fade,  but  remain visible as bright stripes.

Various measures can help to prevent stretch marks. This Massages promote  the elasticity of the skin and increase blood circulation. Depending on the predisposition, stretch marks cannot always be completely prevented, even with good prophylaxis:

  • Avoiding too much weight fluctuation
  • Sport and exercise
  • Healthy diet
  • Alternatingshowers
  • Plucking and kneading massages with La Pommade

La Pommade contains Alpha-3 Complex®t o promote cell regeneration and extract from Crocus chrysanthus to promote collagen and elastin production. This has been shown to reduce the redness of stretch marks and increase the brightness in these skin areas.

C-section scar

During a caesarean section, layers of skin are cut and sewn back together. The body cannot renew the destroyed tissue exactly as it was before and forms new tissue instead. A scar remains. The new tissue is often less elastic. It also differs in appearance from the rest of the skin (for example, no hair grows on the scar).

In the first week after the operation, the scar is initially still red and a little swollen. The scar should be regularly disinfected and kept dry. Mechanical irritation (e.g. tight clothes) should be avoided if possible. As soon as the stitches are removed, it is recommended to treat the scar with Cicafilm.  The neutral silicone plaster Cicafilm lays on the scar like a second skin and improves the colour,  texture and appearance of the scar in the long term.

Care during pregnancy  and after birth

During pregnancy, skin elasticity is reduced due to hormonal influences.  Stretch marks can appear. If the connective tissue is overstretched, this leads to tears in the subcutis, which result in outwardly visible bluelead to reddish streaks. In the course of time the and remain visible as light stripes.

Stretchmarks occur preferentially at particularly heavily  loaded such as the abdomen, hips, buttocks, upper arms and breasts. Weakness of the connective tissue can also cause stretch marks.  favourGood skin care during pregnancy and after birth supports the regeneration of the skin: La  Pommade enthält Alpha-3 Complex® zur Förderung der Hautregeneration und Extrakt aus Crocus chrysanthus zur Förderung der Kollagen- und Elastinproduktion.

Acne scars

The most noticeable after-effect of acne are the scars. They remain on the skin in various forms and in varying degrees of severity. Scars always form when the outer layer of skin, the epidermis, has been damaged and deeper layers of skin are also affected by the injury. This happens, for example, after manipulation of pimples. The injured skin heals, but a visible scar often remains. Acne scars can be atrophic(with visible dimples, so-called ice-pick scars orhypertrophic (with protrusion above the skin level). Rarely, uncontrolled scar proliferation can also lead to so-called keloids.

Treatment of fresh  acne scars

With fresh  acne scars , redness predominates. Here a treatment with  Le Gel, a special scar gel can  alleviate these and cause  the scar to  become flatter.  For visible results, the treatment must be carried out at least 1-2 times a day for several weeks.

Treatment of  older  acne scars

Various dermatological treatments are suitable for treating older acne scars: chemical peeling, fruit acid peels, microdermabrasion, microneedling, injections with hyaluronic acid or laser therapy. After the procedure, a good regenerating skin care with Le Baume important

Cuts,  shaving injuries

Small, superficial cuts usually occur in the kitchen as well as during manual work, in the garden or while playing. Even a sheet of paper can cause the top layer of skin to be scratched open.  Even a little carelessness when shaving can cause a superficial cut to the skin.  These  should be  disinfected . Tiefe, blutende Schnittwunden gehören in ärztliche Behandlung.

Eyelid lift

During an eyelid lift, excess skin is removed from the upper or lower eyelids. The skin is stitched back together at  the edge of the eyelid  and the  stitches are r emoved after one week. A follow-up treatment with  Le Gel, a transparent silicone, enriched

Joint surgery

Scars  occur  because the skin layers  are cut with the scalpel  and the skin  cannot  regenerate completely at this point. Joint operations  involve either small scars (arthroscopic  operations) or classic, somewhat larger  scars  (e.g. after a joint replacement).  The skin over the joints is  mechanically stressed. Especially in these cases, good scar treatment is important. The sooner scar care is started, the more  the  development can be positively  influenced.  Immediately after thread removal, we recommend  the  application of CICAFILM Silicone scar patch. The application  period is at  least  4-8 weeks.  Regular massages with LA POMMADE keep the skin supple and can also improve the  appearance  of the scar .  Older scars, where healing is almost  complete, can still be  treated,  but they require a  longer  treatment period and usually cannot be influenced  very  well.

Scars after operations on clothed parts of the body

Scarring varies greatly from person to person and depends on personal disposition. Various circumstances such as age, damaged wound edges, sensitive areas on the body, skin colour or diseases such as diabetes or circulatory disorders or smoking can have an unfavourable influence on scar formation.

For ideal scar formation, it is important to avoid tensile forces. This is because too much tension pulls the fresh scar apart, resulting in a widened scar, often with altered skin quality.

After suture removal, treatment with Cicafilm silicone plasters  helps  to prevent overshooting or  keloid-like  scars .

Every scar tissue has a typical healing process and goes through an inflammatory phase with swelling and redness,  which  reaches its maximum after about 6 weeks and then recedes. During this time, however, the scar  can also  become knotty  and  hard. In this case, it is important to treat and massage the  scar several times a day  with La  Pommade .

Preparation of the skin before operations

During  skin surgery , layers of skin  are cut  and sewn back together. The body cannot renew the destroyed tissue exactly as it was before and instead forms new tissue.  A scar remains.  The new tissue is often not as elastic. It also differs  in appearance from the rest of the skin (for e xample,  no hair grows on the scar ). A  regular skin  care  with  La  Pommade can improve the elasticity  of the skin and lead to a more beautiful scar result.  Ideally, this starts a few weeks before the planned procedure.

 Flat scars

In the case of skin damage, be it an operation, an accident or even a disease of the skin (e.g. acne), the skin is damaged in its structure. The body cannot renew  the destroyed tissue exactly as it was before and forms new tissue instead. A scar remains. The new tissue is often  less elastic . It also differs in appearance from the rest of the skin (for example, no hair grows on the scar). Scars can be flat or  raised . In the case of flat scars, a treatment such as laser or  microneedling  can improve the skin structure.  In this case, it is best to  seek advice from your dermatologist.  As a complementary measure, a regular scar massage can be Translated with  with La  Pommade help to improve the appearance, colour and texture of the scar.   If the scar is very red, it is more advisable  to use  silicone products. (Le Gel for red scars on the faceCicafilm for red scars on the body).

Proliferating scars (hypertrophic scars, keloids)

Scars occur naturally after injuries to the skin. While minor injuries leave no or barely visible scars , larger, deeper injuries , burns or operations often result in clearly visible scars or even proliferating scars. Scar proliferation  is also observed after infections or in cases of wound healing disorders.  Genetic predisposition also plays a role.  A new layer of tissue is formed from collagen fibres. These are less mobile than the surrounding skin.  The colour is usually reddish. The scar tissue may protrude (bulging or hypertrophic scar) or also displaced inwards. If the scar tissue exceeds the area of the injury and spreads over a large area around it, this is also called a keloid. Bulging scars often arrive at Décolleté, shoulders, neck and ears as well as over the joints. The treatment of such scars belongs in medical hands. Besides cryotherapy and cortisone injections, pressure measures or laser treatments can also be considered for treatment. In addition, the regular use of products containing silicone can lead to a more even skin appearance. The following is suitable for facial scars  Le Gel, a  transparent  silicone gel, enriched with vitamin C. For covered body parts use Cicafilm particularly suitable, a silicone scar plaster enriched with vitamin E. It additionally protects the skin from mechanical stress (friction from clothing).

Fresh stretch marks

Stretch marks occur when the connective tissue of the skin is severely stretched, causing the collagen-containing fibres in the tissue to tear.

Although they are not a medical problem, they can become a burden. Because they are scars, they do not completely disappear, even if their appearance changes over time. The stretch marks fade, but then remain visible as light-coloured stripes.

The following remedies can help improve the appearance of fresh stretch marks.

Plucking and kneading massages with La  Pommade stimulate  blood circulation . Used daily,  it promotes collagen and  elastin production  and helps improve the skin’s appearance.  Reddish  stretch marks become  paler, making them less  noticeable. La  Pommade can also be used during  pregnancy .

Older stretch marks

People who suffer from stretch marks often can’t remember when they first appeared. Older stretch marks tend to be whitish and therefore still clearly visible. The treatment of older stretch marks is more difficult than the treatment of reddish-bluish, fresh stretch marks. It also usually takes a little longer for the first successes to show.

The treatment of older stretch marks belongs in the hands of an experienced dermatologist. Aesthetic medicine offers a variety of options to effectively treat troublesome stretch marks (laser, microneedling, microplasma and others).

Good skin care has a supportive effect. La Pommade contains Alpha-3 Complex® to promote cell regeneration and extract from Crocus chrysanthus to promote collagen and elastin production.
