Both are wrong. How do I treat my acne properly?
The key to good acne care is daily cleansing of the skin followed by the application of a light cream or lotion. Cleaning agents that are too aggressive are counterproductive. Use only a mild cleaning gel for cleaning. Rinse it thoroughly with warm water. This prevents unnecessary irritation of the skin. It makes sense to use products with a low pH. Keratolytic products have a horn-dissolving effect. This means that they promote the shedding of dead skin cells. Skin prone to impurities usually produces too much sebum. Therefore, the skin care cream should not have an additional greasy effect. Even if it is sometimes difficult, pimples should be left alone or carefully cleaned by an aesthetician. Scratching or squeezing often leads to inflammation and scarring. A common misconception is that lack of care can cause pimples to appear. This is not the case.
